Anton Krause


Anton Krause is a highly experienced and qualified corporate, project risk management professional with an extensive history of managing a professional risk consultancy practice and overseeing project risk on large infrastructural and structural building developments. He also has 25 years’ experience in family owned business partnerships and operations, dealing at directorship and shareholder level.

With excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills teamed with the ability to develop and maintain mutually beneficial internal and external relationships he has enjoyed being part of, as well as managing, motivating and training, a successful and productive number of employees and individuals throughout his career. 

He has a strong work ethic and thrives in highly pressurised and challenging working environments. Anton is a problem solver and creative thinker which stands him in good stead to provide solutions to any and all obstacles which form part of a new project. 

He is a firm believer in education and is continually broadening his knowledge base to ensure that he is at the forefront of any new legislation, regulations or practice techniques to offer his clients and employees. 

As part of his commitment to the industry that he is involved in, he is a co-founder of ACHASM in South Africa, which is a non- profit organisation with national membership. Anton provides guidance to Construction Health and Safety professionals and also provides a voice in dealing with the South African government and the Built Environment Professional Councils and Voluntary Associations. He has been CEO/Chairman of this organisation for the past ten years. 

As a presenter, guest speaker and lecturer at technical and commercial conferences and seminars throughout South Africa over the past twelve years, Anton has been instrumental in providing advice and assisting Government forums in improving the South African workplace.

Appointed to PROCSA (Professional Consultants Services Agreement Committee – part of the South African Property Organisation Association) to assist in the development of the PROCSA – Client & Health and Safety Consultant Agreement for professional services.

Appointed by the South African Government to assist in the formation of a Construction Health and Safety Task Team with the SACPCMP (The South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions) and then further design and develop the “Identification of Work for Construction Health and Safety Practitioners” and the gazetted services and deliverables for such practitioners across the identified construction stages.

Appointed by the SACPCMP (a South African Government Council) as an Assessor of the CH&S Professions.

Appointed to serve on the Disciplinary Committee of the SACPCMP (a South African Government Council) for a four year period.

Appointed to serve on the South African Government constituted Construction Industry Development Board National Stakeholders Forum to advise on Construction Risk and professional registration.

Appointed to the Master Builders Association of South Africa on their Joint Practice Committee to advise on Construction Health and Safety best practice.

Accepted under ACHASM onto the BEP Grouping Committee for South Africa (BEP includes all the South African Built Environment Professional Voluntary Associations).
